Charbonnel Et Walker Hot Chocolate Powder 300g. Treat yourself to a little indulgence with the world-famous drinking chocolate.
Our Chocolat Charbonnel recipe was created in 1875 by Madame Charbonnel and is still considered as one of the finest drinking chocolates today. Made using exquisite chocolate flakes, this drink was traditionally made in English chocolate houses with a mixture of chocolate and water only. For today’s tastes, you may therefore prefer a richer drink made with milk. For the ultimate indulgent experience, add your favourite liqueur, fresh whipped cream or chocolate flakes.
Founded in 1875, Charbonnel et Walker is one of Britain’s first and finest chocolatiers. Encouraged by Edward VII, (then the Prince of Wales), Charbonnel et Walker formed as a partnership between Mrs Walker and Mme Charbonnel, the latter from the esteemed Maison Boissier chocolate house in Paris.
The original shop opened at 173 New Bond Street in Mayfair and has remained in Bond Street ever since. It is housed in one of London’s most elegant arcades, the Royal Arcade on Old Bond Street. It is endorsed by the Royal Warrant as one of the few chocolatiers to Her Majesty The Queen.
