A delightful family run independent delicatessen is full of produce made in the shop itself, such as homemade flips made with rough pastry and our classic homemade pork and bramley apple sausage rolls.
We also make our own homemade cakes and tray bakes along with a full range of meat and vegetarian savouries.
We major on stocking local and continental cheese, with nearly one hundred individual varieties. Our highlights are Cave Matured Cheddar, Keens, Westcombe and Montgomery’s Cheddars all made from unpasteurised milk.
With our extensive range of local cheeses, they are supplemented with locally sourced milk, eggs and meat, and a range of oils, condiments and ingredients. Everything is sourced from artisan producers and local craftsmen.
Being a licensed premise we stock local real ale and cider, and with that we stock a selection of fine wines.
We have recently extended, and now have an extensive tea & coffee shop, where upon you can enjoy locally roasted coffee and west country blended tea, we also serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon cream tea.
We open from 9.00 am to 5.00pm from Monday to Saturday.
Although we don’t open every Sunday, we do open the shop and our market stall from 10.00am to 3.00pm on the first Sunday of each month from March to December in line with the Frome Independent Market timetable.
